The production authority of this coin, which is unfortunately widely printed in the market illegally, is only in the Department of Mint of the Republic of Turkey.  There is no difference between old-dated and new-dated coin, except for the year of manufacture written on it, in terms of weight, carat, purity, measure, etc. Every year after January 1, new dated coins starts to be produced by the Department of Mint.
